Happy is the man who listens to me, watching
daily at my gates,
waiting beside my doors. For he who finds me finds life
and
obtains favor from the Lord; but he who misses me
injures
himself; all who hate me love
death. -
Proverbs 8:34-36.
Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you
will find; knock, and
it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and
he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be
opened.
- Matthew 7:7-8.
Establish your hearts, for the coming of the
Lord is at hand.
Do not grumble, brethren, against one another, that you may
be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the
doors.
- James 5:8-9.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any
one hears my
voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with
him, and he with me. He who conquers, I will grant him to
sit with me on my throne, as I myself conquered and sat
down with my Father on his throne. He who has an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches.
- Revelation 3:20-22.
