Karen's Cross
Photographs by Christine Gray

Karen's Cross.

This sculpture belongs to Karen, a science schoolteacher in Georgia.  She received it from her church at her confirmation when she was approximately 10 years old.  Karen displays this Cross on her desk at school with other items, ranging from a toy Slinky to a model of the human body with removable organs.

Christine Gray, a friend of Karen’s, made this series of photographs of the sculpture.  It was photographed in different locations for the best combination of lighting and background elements.  Each image provides a different meaning and it is a personal preference as to which one works the best.  Enjoy!
