"The purpose of the ministry is to help hurting people; mainly drug addicts, alcoholics, prostitutes, homeless, homosexuals, or people commonly called 'STREET PEOPLE.' We are a local non-denominational ministry. Our goal is to build a facility for housing, teaching, and training street people to become spiritually oriented adults. We are not here to dish out money to support their sinful lifestyle. We believe in what Paul wrote in Thes. 3:10 'A man that doesn't work shouldn't eat.' We are here to help 'THE NEEDY, NOT THE GREEDY!' The name of the ministry comes from scripture, Mark 8:34 'WHOSOEVER WILL come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.' Our primary goal is to make DISCIPLES OF CHRIST. Read Luke 14:25-33. It explains what is involved in becoming a disciple. Leadership will be based upon the principle in Exodus 18:20-26, division of responsibility and authority. The Thrift Store supports the ministry.
